In today’s era hardly any startup or entrepreneur can think of running their business without technology. Taking this idea forward, Startup Saturday Mumbai focused on Cloud Computing and Payment Gateway as the theme for their July Edition.A large number of entrepreneurs and aspiring startups showed up on 11^th July to clarify their doubts on Cloud Technology and Payment Gateway, seek guidance and network with fellow entrepreneurs.

When you are thinking about starting a new business, there are a lot of factors and decisions at play that can seem overwhelming. But there are some basic guidelines that helps a startup tomaximize the value of the cloud by approaching it strategically to tap into its full power. Anuja Shukla Technical Lead from Google, was our First speaker who shared her insights on choosing the right cloud platform: Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS),Platform as a Service (PaaS) or Software as a Service (SaaS). She shared examples of how Snapchat or WIX are using Google cloud platform in terms of agility,scalability or DIY.

Mr. Deepam Prithyani of Saralmarket.com gave a lightening pitch on his new venture SaralMarket, which caters to easing stock selection and procurement process for fruit retailers. He also shared how he is using whatsapp as technology in order to share photos and prices with fruit retailers.

Varun, from Citruspay,was our final speaker. He shared how simplicity, technology integration, failure rate, security, analytics, payment cycle and mobile wallet are few important features that every Startup should look for while selecting payment gateway for their ecommerce ventures.
